Going to Hell?

What's this? Hellish environments, creepy undead, eerie portals, alarming animosity, and monsters sneaking silently up behind you? There's no questioning it, THIS IS HALLOWEEN

Paradise gets along with Popper's characters pretty well. With one GLARING exception: Derosar, the brutal capitalistic dictator. He is antithetical to that which paradise embodies. While Paradise wishes to see modernity and technology benefit humanity, Derosar is the embodiment of all the evil those things can bring when used wrongly by those corrupted by greed. It is almost a wonder that they do not annihilate like matter and antimatter.

They've sure come close to that here though! Greg fears what violence might come, while Eegie the necromancer smiles at this impressive display of discord.  But this violence does not come, for something far more unusual has happened. One of the most exotic things Paradise has experience working with is the "Nether". A mysterious and hellish world accessed through a portal born from igniting a fire in a great frame of volcanic glass. Inexperience people fear entering this dangerous place. But for a hardened veteran like Paradise it is little more than another place to go for gathering materials, for use in her engineering projects.

When Derosar casually throws out the old insult of "GO TO HELL!", Paradise is happy, because it is an excuse to abandon the hopeless argument while doing exactly what Derosar just demanded of her. The sight of what appears to be an impressive display of power (yet in reality is not very difficult) leaves Derosar stunned. Greg only smiles at Paradise's actions, then decides to add injury to insult. Through his powers as the author, one of the most feared beings of Minecraftia approaches Derosar from the rear...


Eegie meanwhile is surprised and intrigued, for no one expects the engineer to be the one who's skills permit accessing hellish dimensions. But when the portal proves to lead to a place that is to her liking, she is quite happy. The local Zombie Pigmen don't at all mind Paradise's mining operations, I'm sure that they will get along fine with this skeletal newcomer.

(Now just so any Minecraft-playing viewers don't flip out: there are NO creepers anywhere near Yenikent. Greg just brought one in to troll Derosar using AUTHOR HAX.)
